A Note to the Author

I understand that authors read reviews. I understand that when they are less than stellar they hurt. I understand that you poured your heart and soul to create something wonderful.

Please understand me when I review. I write with honesty and genuine constructive criticism. I believe books are one of the most wonderful things to exist, so I would never ask you to stop creating. My goal is to be as fair as possible, and I’m sorry if in doing so, I call your baby less than the most wonderful thing in the world. I review with logic and reason, carefully balancing out the structure and magic of a book. Please accept my reviews with the utmost sincerity in which I write them.
